Tripoli’s Minister of Local Government Milad al-Taher met on Sunday with Italian Deputy Ambassador to Libya Nicola Orlando, where they discussed several issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Taher underscored the return of Italian companies and investments to his country and enhancing cooperation between both countries.
Taher said Libya looks forward to boosting Libyan-Italian cooperation and exchanging experiences. The Government of National Accord minister also praised joint relations and emphasized efforts for preserving the Libyan stability and security.
Senior Libyan officials were reported to attend the meeting along with Taher according to the Local Government Facebook page.
