Benina International Airport customs officials managed to foil money smuggling attempt to Turkey on Monday.
About Million and 40 thousand Euros along with other $65, 000 were seized by the airport officials according to officials statement issued on the incident.
On Facebook, the Airport stated on its official page that the customs workers seized that amount of money during inspecting a flight was heading to Istanbul.
All necessary measures and legal procedures were taken by the authorities regarding the investigation according to the statement.
