LNA seizes Chadian fighters’ weapons in Marzuq

The weapons of Chadian fighters in Marzuq town of southern Libya have been confiscated and gunmen have been arrested by the Libyan National Army (LNA) on Friday.

The War Information Division of the LNA called on Marzuq’s residents not to post any photos or videos showing the LNA movements in the area.

Armed groups have been “completely” eliminated from Marzuq town during the LNA’s military operation in the southern region, spokesperson of the LNA Ahmed al-Mismari declared Wednesday.

The LNA, then, headed to Al Feel Oil Field, southwestern Sabha, and controlled it on Friday, according to the LNA Karama Operations Room, which said the LNA is securing the field before handing it over to the Petroleum Facilities Guard.
