The fourth edition of the Libya Startups 2018 Expo, held at the Al-Mahary Radisson Blu Hotel in Tripoli, was concluded on Sunday after two days of discussions and seminars with the participation of 88 entrepreneurs.
The exhibition is a great motivator for the revival of the Libyan private sector in the near future, where there has been a high turnout of visitors hoping to attract investors to support entrepreneurs in the North African country.
The event offers a platform for those with new ideas for small and medium-sized projects to link potential investors and partners.
A total of 132 projects were presented to the jury of the exhibition, of which 28 projects were approved for the last stage, which meets the need of the Libyan market.
Women’s participation in the exhibition reached 42 percent, equivalent to 12 projects, a good drive for local market diversification and job creation for women in the coming period.
