40-person Libyan delegation to attend 30th Arab Summit

A 40-person Libyan delegation will attend the 30th edition of the Arab Summit March 31 in Tunis, according to 218 correspondent.

The correspondent said the delegation will be led by head of Presidency Council (PC) Faiez al-Sarraj and ministers of the Government of the National Accord (GNA), denying that a delegation from the interim government will attend the summit.

The summit’s preparatory meetings on March 26 highlighted the challenges facing Arab countries, including terrorism and sectarianism.

The summit, whose draft agenda comprises around 20 items, will be attended by UN Secretary General António Guterres, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, head of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki and Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Yousef Al-Othaimeen.
