The Sabratha Municipal Council held on Thursday the city’s first Investment Conference for Reconstruction and Development to discuss future infrastructure projects and boost cooperation between public and private sectors.
The conference witnessed the participation of several businesspeople and representatives of state institutions, including the Deputy Minister of Housing and Utilities, Osama Abu Zeid.
The participants also discussed possible ways of funding development projects in the city, and talked about the experiences of other Arab countries in spatial development and urban planning.
The Municipal Council asked the businesspeople and representatives of public institutions to accelerate the implementation of development projects and set a new economic plan for the city.
