Libya’s Coast Guard and Port Security managed to rescue two fishermen who had been missing since Thursday.
According to a Sunday statement, the two men were seen last time sailing west. When found, the fishermen were in good health. They were reported to have been stuck at sea due to their boat’s engine failure north of Sidi Bilal area.
The fishermen’s families informed securities that they were missing for long time. several naval patrols were assigned to start a wide search operation to find the boat and the fishermen, until they were found.
The Libyan Coast Guard has been doing great efforts during the past time.
In February, it was reported that they managed to rescue huge numbers of migrants, including 21 women and children.
