GNA launches 8 airstrikes on LNA’s operation room

The forces of the Government of National Accord (GNA) launched Wednesday night eight airstrikes on the operation room of the Libyan National Army (LNA) in Gharyan city, south of Tripoli, according to GNA spokesperson Mohammed Qannouno.

Qannouno said on Thursday the GNA launched eight airstrikes on the LNA’s operation room.

He added that Gharyan’s residents helped the GNA in its surprise attack carried out against the LNA to control the city, the main base of the LNA’s supplies.

The LNA’s military camps witnessed Wednesday night heavy airstrikes by the GNA, which urged the residents to stay away from the places recaptured by the GNA for their own safety, Qannouno continued.

Meanwhile, the LNA declared Gharyan as a military operation area.

The tensions in Gharyan have killed 20 and injured nine in the ranks of the LNA and killed 10 who belong to the GNA.

Qannouno remarked that Gharyan’s residents helped the GNA in its surprise attack carried out against the LNA to control the city, the main base of the LNA’s supplies.

He added that the LNA’s military camps witnessed Wednesday night heavy airstrikes by the GNA, urging the residents to stay away from the places recaptured by the GNA for their safety.

Meanwhile, the LNA declared Gharyan as a military operation area.

The tensions in Gharyan have killed 20 members of the LNA and 10 others of the GNA while injuring 9 affiliated to the LNA.
