LNA destroys UAV north of Jufra military Airbase

The Libyan National Army (LNA) spokesperson Ahmed al Mismari announced, Thursday  destroying an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) North of Jufra military Airbase, central Libya.

In a statements, Mismari said the UAV breached the northern area of the base, so the military Airbase units had to deal with it and destroy it.

The UAV was claimed o be affiliated with The Government of National Accord forces.

Director of the LNA Karama Operation Room Khaled al-Mahjoub said on Sunday July 21, that The war of LNA to “liberate“ Tripoli from armed groups is about to come to an end as the eastern army is at a distance of kilometers from the Martyrs Square in Tripoli.

In a press statement to Al-Ain news website, Mahjoub said the armed groups in the capital do not represent Tripoli residents, emphasizing that the “liberation of Tripoli” from these groups is a necessity.

In the past few days, the LNA made progress toward Tripoli as the army has achieved remarkable results in its fighting in the war on the outskirts of Tripoli in al-Khala and Wadi al-Rabia, he added.
