LNA strikes Chadian Opposition groups in Marzuq

The Libyan National Army (LNA) carried out on Monday night five airstrikes on Chadian Opposition groups in Marzuq, southwestern Libya, the LNA Air Operations Room announced on Tuesday.

In a statement on the results of the Monday airstrikes, the Operation Room said two radar stations near the Faculty of Civil Aviation of Misurata of the Government of the National Accord (GNA), northwestern Libya, were targeted as part of the operation.

It added that a plane loaded with ammunition and weapons at the Faculty of Misurata was also destroyed.

Last week, the LNA carried out eight airstrikes on various locations of the Government of the National Accord (GNA) in Misurata, including the Faculty of Civil Aviation of Misurata, according to LNA’s al-Watiya airbase.

Watiya airbase said the air strikes also targeted the operating room and the air defense system in Misurata.
