LNA carries out airstrikes for second time on Zuwarah Airport

The Libyan National Army (LNA) carried out a airstrikes for the second time on warehouses at Zuwarah Airport, northwestern Libya, for hosting Turkish drones, LNA spokesperson Ahmed al-Mismari announced on Friday.

He said the LNA’s air forces also hit stores where drones and ammunitions were found in eastern Abu Kammash, a small Libyan Berber village by the sea located about 25 kilometers from the Tunisian border.

He added that any site hosting foreign bodies is a legitimate target of the LNA’s air forces.

The LNA hit Zuwarah Airport for the second time in a week, as on Thursday airstrikes targeted two warehouses for being allegedly used by Turkish drones.

This came as part of the LNA Western Region Operations Room’s target on various sites, including the “Turkish Operation Room” at Zuwarah Airport, which had been used for military purposes.
