Conte: Libya’s stability is priority for the new Italian government

The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said, in a speech at the House of Representatives in Rome on Monday, regaining stability in Libya is a priority for the new executive authorities in Italy.

He said, before a vote of confidence in the government, that his personal constant commitment to regaining stability in Libya shows that Italy prioritizes this crisis to many others in the region, referring to the fact that he had visited Libya many times and that Italy and Libya have good bilateral relations.

“My priorities for Libya won’t stop in there but will continue to the entire continent of Africa, whether through dialogue channels and other methods.” The new Chairman of Italy’s Five Star Movement said.
