Al-Sarraj to armed groups’ leaders: About six months of war, victory is close

The Head of Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj has continued to hold “National Dialogue” meetings in Tripoli.

This time, Al-Sarraj met with commanders of so-called “Burkan Al-Ghadab Operation” that is fighting against the forces of the Libyan National Army (LNA).

According to the media office of the Presidential Council, Al-Sarraj as “the commander in chief of the Libyan Army” chaired the meeting in the presence of Government of National Accord’s Chief of Staff and military zones’ commanders.

Al-Sarraj added in the opening statement to his meeting that they were gathering to reaffirm their loyalties to the country and their defense of the capital until the aggression is defeated.

He told the frontlines’ commanders that their military might is stronger with the advent of the sixth month since the war broke in Tripoli, adding that victory is approaching and that this will pave the way to peace.

The Head of the Presidential Council also talked about the priorities of taking care of the injured and displaced people as well as providing services for people amid the upcoming political battle.
