The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) exported on Friday a shipment of crude oil from Zueitina terminal to China.
The oil shipment in board “Minvera Clybos” vessel amounted to one million barrels, while a source at Hrega port told 218News few days ago that a million oil barrels were shipped to China from the port on board “Tilos” vessel.
Libya ships 10% of its oil production to China, according to official statistics by the oil sector in the country.
The NOC is hoping to increase daily oil production to over two million barrels by 2023.
Meanwhile, the NOC announced the revenues of last July from oil and its byproducts and other food-related incomes, saying they amounted to 2.1 billion dollars.
