Justice Minister: It’s essential to oversee Libyan frozen assets

The committee formed to oversee the legal actions against Libya’s frozen assets overseas has discussed in its seventh meeting the laws sent by the court cases administration for legal analysis and financial review.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Justice at the Government of National Accord and head of the committee Mohammed Lamloum as well as representatives from Audit Bureau, Ministry of Finance, Libyan Foreign Bank, and the Head of Legal Administration at the Central Bank of Libya.

Lamloum reviewed in the meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice in Tripoli all the lawsuits agaisnt the state of Libya overseas, without adding any further details.
