Teenagers plunged into war in Libya

Activists on social media and media outlets have reported news about deaths among the armed groups of the Government of National Accord (GNA) and photos showing youngsters among the deaths caught people’s attention.

The worst side of wars is the killing of dreams before destroying the human bodies themselves. Teenagers who are under the influence of a mixture of incentives and other methods have decided to fight on frontlines putting at risk their future years of life, which got taken away in no time.

This goes for the story of one of those teenagers, Rasheed Al-Bakoush, who opened his eyes to see Libya in a state of war to be later killed by another teenager who is fighting for GNA armed groups.

Choosing to fight on frontlines, shouldering weapons instead of holding pens and papers by those teenagers is evidence that the society is deteriorating in Libya and that hopes are fading away gradually.

Yet, if such factors of chaos remain in Libya, the future of those teenagers would be at constant jeopardy losing their lives to he taken advantage of by those older ones who would live on chaos and hollow statements.
