Libya exports oil shipments to China and Spain

Libya exported 600.000 oil barrels to Spain on Saturday on board Greece-flagged oil tanker “Amalthea”.

Meanwhile, Zueitina oil terminal’s management said Sunday afternoon that one million oil barrels were shipped to China on board “Delta Maria” vessel.

Libya is planning to ramp up its oil production to bring more revenue to its treasury that relies on oil by 90%.

According to Ministry of Finance data, Libya’s oil revenue till September this year has amounted to 24.632 billion dinars – a 24% increase over expectations.

A report by the ministry said that Libyan revenues until September 2019 amounted to 24.632 billion dinars – 24% increase of the expected income – because Libya has based it expectations on producing 1.1 million barrels of oil per day with a price of 55 dollars per barrel, but the increased production led to more incomes.
