Munich Security Conference discusses Libya’s crisis

The Chairman of Munich Security Council  Wolfgang Ischinger has announced the launch of Core Group meetings in Cairo, Egypt.

The Chairman said the attendees would discuss the ongoing conflict in Libya and the stance of Horn of Africa as well as Arab countries regarding the Libyan crisis and climate change.

The meetings will be in cooperation with Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Arab League and African Union.

The Munich Security Conference is vital in discussing security issues around the world allowing political players to communicate unofficially for three days.

The Munich Security Conference was held in 1963 for the first time and was titled “International Meeting for Defense Sciences.”
