The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused the US of violating Security Council’s arms ban on Libya by using an airbase to topple Muammar Gaddafi and helped spread terrorism in Africa.
According to Sputnik, Lavrov said Washington is using all means possible to achieve its goals even if it violated international laws, adding that there’s no country in the world that is immune to sanctions that are imposed and used by the US.
Lavrov indicated that by violating Security Council’s resolutions, the US has helped terrorism spread across Africa and into Libya then Mali, saying the same results affected Iraq and Syria.
