Turkey’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has discussed with the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, the efforts to return Syrian refugees to their home country as well as the status quo in both Libya and Yemen.
The spokesman for the UN Secretary General said in a press conference that the discussions about Libya and Yemen between Erdogan and Guterres were constructive, especially the talks about the peace process in the Middle East.
The spokesman added that Turkey, through Erdogan, expressed appreciation for constant strong cooperation to support the Syrian constitutional committee and its meetings in Geneva, reiterating the need for political solutions to the crises in the region.
