The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer discussed cooperation in economic fields with the US during his visit to Washington recently.
According to the CBL’s Facebook page, Al-Kaberr met with Congressman Theodore Deutch and Senator Todd Young as well as deputy national security advisor, Victoria Coates.
Al-Kabeer participated last week at the general session of the International Monetary Fund’s governors meetings in Washington.
At the time, the CBL said Al-Kabeer discussed with the relevant officials of the International Monetary Fund the economic challenges and their impact on countries’ economies as well as the trade war between the US and China.
