The Head of Moral Motivation Department at the Libyan National Army (LNA) Brigadier General Khalid Al-Mahjoub said the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a main part that led to the latest developments in security and military operations in Libya as “he is involved in sending terrorists to Libya to support armed groups of the Government of National Accord fighting against LNA in Tripoli”.
Al-Mahjoub told Ain News Agency that the terrorist groups won’t he able to resist the operations of the LNA if it wasn’t for the Turkish President’s funding and support for them, including providing them with drones.
Al-Mahjoub indicated that ISIS didn’t hide its support for the militias since the start of fighting in Benghazi as its flag was held clearly in most frontline battles against LNA forces.
