Egyptian judiciary is going to deliver the final verdict of Libyan terrorist Abdelrahim Al-Mismari – the one responsible for Wahat incident – that took place on October 11 2017 in which 16 security personnel were killed and 13 others were injured.
An Egyptian court has sentenced the Libyan national Abdelrahim Al-Mismari to the Mufti Hearing (To decide on execution) for his role in Al-Wahat incident along with 44 others.
Egypt accuses 45 people of attacking a police station in southern Cairo in Wahat in Giza province, where 11 officers, 4 recruits and one policeman were killed.
Investigations by the Egyptian authorities revealed that Al-Mismari was trained in camps for ISIS in Libya before he infiltrated into Egypt to from a terrorist group in the desert area of Wahat.
Al-Mismari is facing charges of premeditated murder and possession of weapons, in addition to joining a terrorist group.
