A source from Zueitina oil terminal told 218News that ‘Maran Helen” oil tanker shipped on Sunday one million barrels of crude oil to China.
The source added that the oil vessel shipped the million oil barrels in two loadings – the first shipment was 600.000 barrels from Ras Lanuf oil terminal and the second was 400.000 barrels from Zueitina oil terminal.
Last Friday, an Italy-flagged methane vessel “Leveole Shine” shipped 8500 tons from Zueitina oil terminal to Cuba.
The exports come in a time the National Oil Corporation is trying to increase production by 2023 as recent oil revenue statistics showed an increase of October income to reach 2.2 billion dollars with an added income of 381 million dollars – 21% higher than September of the same year.
