The United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has discussed with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed the Russian presence in Libya.
Pompeo said on Twitter that he had reviewed with his Emirati counterpart efforts for a ceasefire in southern Tripoli and a return to the political solution.
Meanwhile, the British newspaper, The Times, revealed that tens of “Russian mercenaries” – recruited by Wagner Group -had been killed in an airstrike in Libya in recent weeks.
