The lawyer of Moammar Gaddafi’s son, Hannibal who is jailed in Lebanon, said Hannibal Gaddafi could be released soon.
The lawyer, Mohammed Al-Madloum, told reporters that Hannibal Gaddafi’s case has been referred to the Attorney General and it has been stagnant for months, saying it’s highly likely that Hannibal won’t be found guilty in the accusations of kidnapping Imam Al-Sadr and his companion.
The lawyer also said that Hannibal has nothing to do with the kidnapping of Imam Al-Sadr as he was a child at the time – only two years old – and that he is waiting currently for the trail date.
