In defiance to international community, Erdogan says agreement with Libya’s GNA to go through

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Libya and Syria will be in discussions table at the NATO summit follow-up meeting of four on Tuesday in London.

218News has learned earlier from identical diplomatic sources that London will host international meetings on the sidelines of the NATO summit; one of which will host Turkey, Germany, France and UK leaders to talk about the situations in Libya and Syria, while another meeting for Italy, Turkey and Germany leaders will follow.

Erdogan stressed earlier that his government will go on with the agreement with Libyan Government of National Accord, saying it will be put for endorsement by the Parliament then be implemented fully.

He also said he would be meeting the Greek Prime Minister in London upon the latter’s request.

Greece spoke rejection of the Libyan-Turkish MoUs and threatened to expel Libyan ambassador if the security MoU wasn’t cancelled.
