Recovering wreckage of Atlantic Beach ship from Tripoli port costs 17 million dollars

Two sources at Tripoli port confirmed to 218News on Tuesday that operations to recover Atlantic Beach ship from Tripoli port beach have ended. The ship deviated in the water at the beginning of 2019 and then sunk as its operating companies couldn’t save it.

The two sources, who preferred to remain anonymous for security reasons, the recovering of the ship from the port waters was done by foreign insurance companies and the international security club to which the ship belongs. The operation was done by the US T.T. Company, Singapore branch with assistance from other firms, which all got seven million dollars for their services from the insurance company.

KOOLE company from Holland, which hot 10 million dollars, recovered the wreckage of the ship, topping the Operation’s cost to 17 million dollars, while the owner of the ship sent a third company to monitor the area for perfect completion of the job.

The sources said the Dutch vessel was getting ready to sail off Tripoli port as it was the last to participate in the recovering of the Atlantic Beach ship, saying the insurance company could pay damage money for the businesses which have put their goods into insurance packages only.
