A message from new Algerian President to the Libyan people

The newly elected Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has called on Libyans to renounce differences and to unite against challenges, saying Algeria sees Libya’s stability as a priority.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune said in his first speech to the Algerian people after he took the oath as the eighth president that his country won’t accept to be excluded from efforts to find solutions to Libya’s crisis.

He also indicated that it is very important that Libya regains its stability and security and that Libyans should be united against external interventions and challenges.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune won the elections with a majority vote of 58%, while Abdelkader bin Grina got 17.38% of the votes and Ali bin Flis received 10.55% of the Algerian people’s votes.
