African Union to discuss Libya’s conflict on February 08

The Peace and Security Council at the African Union is going to hold a meeting on February 08-09 to discuss the latest developments in Libya, according to the Algerian News Agency, reporting the Peace and Security Commissioner of the African Union Ismail Sharqi.

The Chairman of the African Union’s Commission, Moussa Faki, said four days ago that the African Union is with the political solution in Libya.

Faki called on the international community to unify efforts to find peaceful solutions to the Libyan conflict, expressing grave concerns about the deterioration of security in Libya.
