Ahval: Three Turkish soldiers killed in Libya in fighting against LNA

Three Turkish soldiers were killed during fighting in and around east of the Libyan city of Misrata, Ahval reported, citing reliable sources.

It added that six other Turkish soldiers were injured, saying the bodies of the dead soldiers had been transported to Misrata airport to be taken on board a Turkish airplane.

On January 05, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said army units started deploying in Libya, explaining that they won’t be on fighting missions.

Turkey’s intervention in Libya comes as per the Erdogan-Al-Sarraj agreements of maritime boundaries and security and military cooperation to help halt the advance of the Libyan National Army forces toward Tripoli’s center.

Ahval added that many political and social actors in Turkey are awaiting to hear news about the situation in Libya amid the news of the killing of three Turkish soldiers in the country to achieve the adventures of Erdogan.
