The Russian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the General Commander of the Libyan National Army Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar is ready to visit Moscow once again for negotiations.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov said there is a relative commitment to the ceasefire by the two sides of the Libyan conflict with some violations being registered.
Bogdanov said the violations that took place could be out of the necessity of the LNA’s fight against “extremist armed groups”.
He also added in a press conference that Moscow backs up the 5+5 military commission that should hold meetings in Geneva as soon as possible.
