Local sources: Two Turkish warships dock at Tripoli port

Local sources, including brigades loyal to Government of National Accord, reported that Turkish troops arrived in Tripoli Wednesday dawn on board two Turkish warships that had been seen off the shore of Tripoli port.

The two warships were accompanied by a ship to unload tanks and military vehicles for the first time since Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced supporting GNA despite vowing in Berlin not to intervene in Libya or send more mercenaries.

The two warships “Gazintepe and Kaidiniz” were escorted into the Tripoli port by GNA armed groups then sent the shipments to Mitiaga airbase, according to the sources.
