Details of Turkish arms-laden ship at Misrata port revealed

Turkey continues nonstop to send arms shipments to Libya by air and sea, as press sources revealed that they monitored a Turkish arms shipment headed to the Misrata port, which proved the credibility of the statements of the spokesman for the Libyan National Army, Ahmed Al-Mismari, about the arrival of weapons and military equipment to the Misrata port coming from Turkey.

The sources pointed out that a ship flying the Liberian flag, named Hansa Rottenberg, was preparing to enter the port of Misrata Sunday, specifically at 9.00 pm, coming from the Turkish port of Mersin.

The track of the ship, revealed by Al-Ain news sources, sailed on 14 February from the port of Mersin and then headed to four Turkish ports before heading to the port of Misrrata.

The newspaper pointed out that the Turkish ship is the fourth that arrived in the ports of Tripoli and Misrata in two weeks.

While three Turkish ships carrying weapons arrived in the port of Tripoli last week and were bombed by the Libyan National Army with rocket propelled grenades before the weapons got transported to Mitiga airport.

The newspaper cited military sources that another Turkish ship, which was on its way to the port of Tripoli, quickly departed after the bombing of the port.

These consecutive shipments came after the ceasefire was declared, thus the Libyan National Army considered them clear violations of the truce at the sight of the international community.
