Father of Manchester Arena bomber is receiving medical treatment in Turkey at GNA’s expense

Turkey seems to be making efforts to try to hide its support for terrorism and terrorists or those associated with these terrorist organizations, and like the Government of National Accord, it is harboring and treating the most prominent leaders of ISIS and others.

British sources have revealed that the father of the Manchester Arena bomber is now in Istanbul receiving treatment at the expense of the GNA.

The Daily Telegraph revealed, citing its sources, that Ramadan Abedi, who was arrested by security authorities in Tripoli in 2017, just hours after his insistence that his son Salman was not behind the suicide bombing in the United Kingdom, was visiting Istanbul for treatment regularly and despite the cooperation of GNA with the British government, the sources revealed, the GNA was paying the costs of his treatment as a civil employee from the government.

The father returned to Libya from the United Kingdom in 2011 and was released quietly by the Special Deterrent Force in Tripoli without announcing the reason for his arrest or the reason for his release, then he went into hiding for years, yet he was tracked by a Libyan source who told The Telegraph also that he was visiting a hospital in Istanbul for unknown reasons.

This revelation of the whereabouts of Ramadan Abedi comes at a time when his son Hashem faces a conviction on 22 counts of murder and conspiracy in a terrorist operation with his brother Salman, whose body was pulled from the scene of the terrorist incident, and Hashem now awaits a mandatory life sentence when Judge Jeremy Baker convicts him in the coming week.
