Libya’s National Oil Corporation says revenues have dropped sharply

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli said on Wednesday that oil export revenues declined in last February by 69% compared to January, recording 555 million dinars in revenue.

The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, said in a statement that he was expecting further deterioration of production during the coming months as a result of the continued blockade of export operations and the closure of oilfields.

It is noteworthy that the National Oil Corporation said last Monday that it continued to work hard to provide fuel to all Libyans throughout the country.
