Study: Do recovered Coronavirus patients transmit virus to others?

A new study by a group of Yale University researchers published in the Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine confirmed that people with coronavirus may transmit infection to others even after the symptoms have gone away.

The study involved 16 people with coronavirus with an average age of 35, who recovered and left the Beijing Hospital between January 28 and February 9.

The study proved that half of the patients continue to fight the virus even after they recover from it and the symptoms disappear, which threatens to transmit the infection to others, confirming that serious infections need a longer period in order to eliminate the virus entirely.

The study recommended that people recovering from COVID-19 disease remain in quarantine for two weeks to ensure their safety and not to transmit infection to others.
