Health authorities of the Government of National Accord have worked on preparing a four-storey building next to the main building of El-Ayoun Hospital in Tripoli to be one of the quarantine and isolation headquarters for those infected with the novel coronavirus.
The building contains 50 beds, 16 of which are for intensive care, and the Ministry of Health said that the rooms which do not have a gas system will be equipped with oxygen cylinders and a dry air system.
The Ministry indicated that the new quarantine building had undergone comprehensive maintenance work earlier this month.
Health authorities in Tripoli have also equipped 55 beds in the Quarantine Department of Mitiga Hospital, as part of preparations to tackle the Coronavirus outbreak.
