LNA captures brother of notorious Libyan human trafficker “Al-Ammo”

The spokesman for the General Command of the National Army, Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, announced that LNA forces had captured one of the most senior human smuggling and human trafficking leaders in the region: Saleh Al-Dabbashi – brother of Ahmed Al-Dabbashi; known as “Al-Ammo” who is sanctioned by the UN Security Council for human trafficking.

Al-Mismari added that the captured human trafficker got detained as he was suffering severe injuries after being wounded inside a Turkish armored Kirpi – BMC, indicating that this is evidence of (Turkey’s expansion of its criminal activities to include support for senior criminals in the western region and human traffickers in a direct threat not only to the interests of the Libyan people but also to all the countries of the region and the Mediterranean basin).

Al-Mismari said this criminal called Saleh Al-Dabbashi was responsible for the Sabratha Center, which was home to the most heinous crimes against humanity toward immigrants throughout the period between 2012 and 2017.

He also stated that Saleh Al-Dabbashi was captured along with a number of Syrian and wanted Libyan mercenaries supported by Turkey, including his cousin Ahmed, who is affiliated with the militias of “fuel smuggler” Osama Juwaili, who was picked by the Government of National Accord as commander for the western military region.
