8 new Coronavirus cases bring the total to 59 in Libya

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control recorded Tuesday a remarkable increase in the number of cases of Coronavirus in Libya as it registered eight new Coronaviruscases, bringing the total to 59 COVID-19 patients.

The center said its Community Health Reference Laboratory received 83 samples on Tuesday, April 21, the results of which were (75) negative samples and (8) positive ones, whom previous patients had been in contact with.

The center also said that Libya has now 59 confirmed cases – 15 recoveries – 1 death – 43 health isolation cases – after testing 891 samples.

The National Center for Disease Control said it continues efforts to reveal the results of the samples submitted without saying where the samples came from and what cities they have originated from, which raises widespread criticism every time from the medical and people’s circles and those interested in combating the pandemic.
