Italy says none of its soldiers in Misrata was injured in LNA airstrikes

Italian military sources denied Thursday, the presence of any injuries among the Italian military personnel in Misrata to protect what is known as the field hospital or military hospital. This is not the first time that the Italian military establishment denied that its soldiers in Misurata were not injured after the LNA’s Air Force raids on military targets in the city.

The Italian newspaper, Corriere della Serra, quoted an Italian military source as saying that the location of the explosions and fire resulting from the raids was close to the compound that houses the Italian military hospital, which was not damaged.

The last 24 hours witnessed intense strikes targeting the vicinity of Misrata Air College and the military base as part of intense raids by the Libyan National Army’s Air Force on various axes in Misrata and Tripoli, and in repelling successive attacks on Al-Watiya airbase.
