The Tunisian authorities raised the high alert level on their southeastern borders with Libya, after the Government of National Accord forces had announced control of the Al-Watya airbase.
A Tunisian security source confirmed, in press statements, that the Tunisian forces mobilized and redeployed their forces on the borders with Libya in light of the recent changes and field developments in the country.
The source pointed out that the Tunisian forces are fully prepared to confront any move that might affect the territorial integrity and security of the country.
