LNA: Commander of Syrian Sultan Murad Brigade has been killed in Tripoli

The Military Information Division of the General Command of the Libyan National Army announced on Saturday the killing of the leader of the Sultan Murad Brigade, who is called “Murad Abu Hamoud Al-Azizi”.

In its post on its official page, the division described “Al-Azizi” as a Turkish-backed Syrian mercenary who was killed on the airport road frontline in the capital, Tripoli.

A militant group in Syria mourned “Al-Azizi” on their YouTube channel, as soon as the news of his death spread, and the Syrian opposition groups have seen in Idlib serious differences between a supporters of sending mercenary fighters to Libya and others opposing it, while Turkey and its President Erdogan, continue to lure young Syrians involved in the opposition or others to fight in Libya.
