President Saied: Tunisia won’t be used as backup for any party in Libya

Tunisian President Kais Saied reiterated that the solution to the crisis in Libya should be Libyan-Libyan without any external interference, and that his country, which adheres to its sovereignty as it adheres to the sovereignty of Libya, will not be a back-end for any party.

The Tunisian President pointed out to a phone call with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, that Tunisia, along with Libya, is one of the countries most affected by the continuing battles and division, stressing his rejection to any division of the Libyan state.

The phone call dealt with the relations between the two countries, Tunisia and France, and ways of cooperation between them in this particular circumstance, and opening new horizons to further support and consolidate them.
