The Head of the Tunisian Free Constitutional Party, Abeer Moussa, revealed that she received information about the existence of an assassination plot, and that ISIS operatives had received training in Libya and entered Tunisia two weeks ago to implement the assassination plot.
Moussa indicated that she was unable to assess the authenticity of the information she had received, noting that she had received similar messages in the past but did not include information with such accuracy.
She clarified that the information she had received and had not yet been verified indicates that the plot includes the process of detonating it with a time bomb.
Moussa accused the Ennahdha party of being behind the “conspiracy”, holding Parliament Speaker Rashid Ghannouchi, his office manager Habib Khader, the Ennahda Movement and the Tunisian state responsible for her safety.
