Libya’s NOC: Losses of oil exports shutdown near $6 billion

The National Oil Corporation revealed that the losses of stopping exports and closing oil fields are approaching $6 billion.

The NOC stated in its statement on Sunday that the closure that has been going on for 157 days will affect the financial arrangements and salary provisions for 2020-2021 in the future.

Earlier, an official source at the National Oil Corporation revealed to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper the arrangements that are still underway regarding the resumption of production in the oilfields and the resumption of exports from the Oil Crescent Region after about 5 months of closure by protesters in the region, complaining about the Government of National Accord policies.
