The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army, Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, said that the Syrian Sultan Murad Brigade, which is affiliated with Ankara, is setting up a training camp for it in the Yarmouk camp in the capital, Tripoli.
Al-Mismari added that the camp was prepared to train groups of Syrian mercenaries who were hastily transferred from Syria to Libya without adequate training to replace the “experienced” fighters who were transported and deployed on the Sirte and Al-Jufra fronts.
The spokesperson for the Commander in Chief stated that this measure is part of a plan to deploy 15000 Syrian mercenaries who are known as “special forces” and “elite forces” affiliated with Jabhat al-Nusra.
Al-Mismari’s official page posted a video of 25 seconds for Syrian mercenaries training inside the Yarmouk camp in Tripoli.
