Former Trump campaign adviser Walid Phares described what Turkey and its military troops in western Libya are doing as a way of “invading the country”, pointing to the dispatch of entire armies and Turkish equipment and aircraft to Libya.
The former Trump adviser added in statements to “Al-Hadath” that what Turkey is doing in Libya and sending more than 10. 000 mercenaries there is very big compared to what foreign private security companies are doing in Libya to support the two parties to the conflict there.
The former Trump campaign adviser stressed that it is too early to judge the American bill to improve stability in Libya, which is being discussed by the US Congress, indicating that the project is acceptable in general, as it stipulates the prevention of the supply of weapons to Libya and the exit of foreign forces from Libya.
