Conflicts among GNA armed groups escalate over influence and cocaine deals

A young man named Musab al-Batsha, who is part of the Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade, revealed disputes among the leaders of the armed formations in Tripoli and how he was tortured because he thwarted a cocaine deal, which was going to one of the leaders of the armed factions.

In a video statement, Al-Batsha, who was receiving treatment in a clinic in Tripoli, narrated the story of his torture and severe beatings by gunmen of the Government of National Accord, accompanied by mercenaries of Syrian nationality.

This incident quickly spread on social media platforms, as the story he mentioned reflected the mysteries he unveiled for the public, scandalizing the state of fragmentation and sharp differences among the armed groups even within the same battalion.
