The activists’ statement indicated that their demands also include “combating all forms of corruption in all political, civil and military state apparatuses and asking the judiciary authorities to initiate criminal cases regarding legal violations mentioned in the reports of the Audit Bureau and the Administrative Control Authority, including issuing orders to freeze the assets of the accused and prevent them from leaving the country.”

The statement also stressed the need to speed up the holding of early elections that would ensure the removal of all political bodies and get rid of the ruling class that has been ravaged by corruption and tampering and plundered the capabilities of the Libyan people, drained their wealth, betrayed the integrity of their representation and their interests, and violated their rights and freedoms,” according to the statement.
